Sassy Water &Why

(Not My Picture: I’d  post where I got it but the site is gone)

Sassy water was invented by a person named “Sassy”  it can be made right in your own kitchens following a recipe..  I  did this with my sister. It really works…  Not only does it  boost your Metabolism it really helped boost my mood and  keep me  energetic and happy. So I was able to get more done… Sadly I have the Ginger and Leomon easy access where I live but I keep forgetting to get the  Cucumber  and I’ve never used the  Mint leaves as it says to below… I’ll have to  find some and try it.

Here is the recipe:

8. 5 CUPS WATER
1 TSP/ GRATED GINGER
1 MED. CUCUMBER
1 MEDIUM LEMON
12 SPEARMINT LEAVES

Wait, don’t run off to make it just yet….     I wanna  Tell  you  why I  have found this actually works for me…

WARRING:  After further research

You should ask your Dr if this is ok for you.. There seems to be a lot of  Potassium  in this  drink.

I  recently read that some of this stuff could effect your body in ways you may not be used too..  The Ginger especially…. (Eek! I need to ask my Dr too, Tho I adore my Ginger!)    So make sure your safe to use it..

 THE INGREDIENTS

Water – contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds. It  hydrates you!  It   improves  your skin texture;. It helps maintain digestive health;  It  helps flush out toxins, and it gives you energy.. A nice blog with more info:  http://parentjazz.wordpress.com/2008/01/08/ten-reasons-why-drinking-water-is-good-for-you/

Lemon –  The Lemon oil may be used in aromatherapy. Researchers at The Ohio State University found that lemon oil aroma does not influence the human immune system, but may enhance mood. The low pH of juice makes it antibacterial.  – Meaning it  helps kill  the yucky stuff in your system while making you feel better… No wonder I crave some good Lemon-aid now and again!  The ammonia and acids kill and clean the   bad in your system while energizing you… I knew it  was antibacterial, I didn’t know it was a mood booster.

Ginger  – It does a lot!   Is  most commonly used in Asian, Japanese, Chinese, & Thi: food dishes.. Especially with Sushi. I always knew it cleanses the pallet, but It helps control and restrict gass; it   helps get rid of  nausea especially during pregnancy,  makes you burp;  It fights several different types of cancer; It helps you relax, It is  antibacterial..   The oil made from ginger is sometimes applied to the skin to relieve pain.  -It has so many  great qualities.. Be warned too much can be bad!  An acute overdose of ginger is usually in excess of about 2 grams of ginger per kilogram of body mass,[39] dependent on level of ginger tolerance, and can result in a state of central nervous system over-stimulation called ginger intoxication or colloquially the “ginger jitters”.
